The director of The Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (FAPRI-MU) at the University of Missouri says they’ve been monitoring the market situation. Pat Westhoff says they are also, “Trying to figure out the late planting and so on this spring is actually going to mean. We won’t actually do a formal update of our baseline probably until August.” Pat Westhoff tells Brownfield their next baseline report for Congress will be a lot different than the one in April, “All the information available at that time.
