The USDA says farmers and ranchers with expiring CRP contracts can now re-enroll in certain continuous practices. A one-year extension is being offered to those with expiring CRP contracts of 14 years or less whose practices are not eligible for re-enrollment. They can also enroll in the Transition Incentives Program. The USDA’s Farm Service Agency is also accepting offers from those who want to enroll in CRP for the first time. The sign-up goes through August 23rd.
