House tax bill that includes biodiesel credit to be voted on Thursday

The House Ways and Means Committee will vote on a tax bill Thursday that includes the Biodiesel Tax Credit. Kurt Kovarik with the National Biodiesel Board says the proposal would extend the $1-per gallon credit through 2020. “If acted on, and enacted soon after, it would provide our industry a little bit of prospective certainty.” He tells Brownfield while NBB is pleased the committee is moving forward with the comprehensive tax bill, it does not have bipartisan support.
