A southwestern Indiana farmer is trying to finish corn planting today. If he doesn’t, Mark Seib says he will take prevented plant on remaining corn acres. “If we can’t get things planted today then I think we’re done with corn and we’ll just take those acres and put them into prevented planting,” he says. “We still have a little over 200 acres.” He says they are almost finished planting soybeans. “We’ll plant all the way up to July 4th on our double crop soybeans,” he says.
