Longtime DTN livestock market analyst John Harrington died Monday at age 67. Harrington was a fourth-generation cattle producer, who started his “Feel of the Market” consulting firm and newsletter in 1984 and joined DTN as their Chief Livestock Analyst in 1985, before retiring earlier this year. Harrington brought a unique sense of humor and perspective to his analysis and won several major awards during the course of his career, both individually and as a part of the DTN team, also serving on the Hastings, Nebraska City Council from 2006 to 2018.
