Soybeans were firm on short covering and technical buying, along with the bounce in corn. The USDA left the 2019 production numbers unchanged for now and raised old and new crop U.S. ending stocks, while global old and new crop ending stocks were both down modestly. U.S. planting remains slow with most expecting another week of mixed progress, with more than 33 million anticipated acres remaining.
