The 2019 planting season has not gone as planned for central Nebraska farmer Brandon Hunnicutt.
He says it’s been a “disjointed” spring, with wet weather, followed by cold weather, followed by more wet weather. But conditions have improved the past few days and Hunnicutt says they’re aiming to start planting Monday.
“I think there’s going to be some guys west of here starting probably today (Friday). We’ll see some guys going this weekend,” Hunnicutt says.
