Southern Indiana Farmer Dave Gottbrath says many farmers
would benefit from growth in the ethanol industry, but there is a lot of consumer
confusion that must be addressed for that to happen.
“It’s the public that doesn’t understand the difference in octane and there’s so much misinformation out there that keeps being sent around and around again,” he says.
Gottbrath says he would tell consumers that ethanol is a
safe and affordable fuel option.
