An east-central Iowa farmer says he would normally be done planting by now.
“And I haven’t had a seed in the ground yet,” says Dave Walton of Wilton, Iowa.
He says excessive rain and delays in getting anhydrous have made for a difficult spring.
“As every day goes along, you get a little bit more worried. But we’re not that far into May yet. If we were a week later, I’d get really concerned.
