USDA offers repayment on MPP premiums

The USDA has announced farmers
who were enrolled in the Margin Production Program for Dairy are now eligible
to receive a payment to cover part of their premiums.
Farmers who participated in
the MPP program from 2014 through 2017 have until September 20th to
verify their repayment with the Farm Service Agency.
FSA Administrator Richard
Fordyce says the repayment along with the new Dairy Margin Coverage Program and
other programs, should help producers better weather the ups and downs in the
industry.
