Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange pushed through $17 Friday in the later months of 2019 supported by strong cash trade and declining stocks.
May Class III milk up 20 cents at $16.37.
June up 23 cents at $16.58. July 25 cents higher at $16.77. August up
27 cents at $17.08. September through January
contracts were 11 to 23 cents higher.
Dry whey remained unchanged at $0.3475.
Blocks up $0.02 at $1.6750. Twenty-two trades were made ranging from
$1.6625 to $1.6750.
