U.S. ethanol production and stocks declined last week.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.024 million barrels a day, down 24,000 from the previous week’s multi-month high. The industry continues to wait for some clarity on year-round E15 use and potential changes to small refinery exemptions, along with what role ethanol will play, if any, in proposed trade deals.
Stocks were down 52,000 barrels on the week at 22.695 million.
