A Minnesota farmer near the Canadian border has been surprised
by the weather in his part of the state.

Shayne Isane in Roseau County says northern Minnesota is forecast to receive rain this weekend, while southern Minnesota could see several inches of snow.

“You guys (in southern Minnesota) have actually been getting worse weather than we have with these snow storms that have come through, which is a bit unusual. But it doesn’t sound like huge (rain) amounts up here.
