Direct cash cattle trade activity is quiet this morning following yesterday’s moderate to active trade in the North. Dressed deals were at mostly $204 to $205 which is $3 to $4 lower than the previous week’s weighted average basis in Nebraska. Live deals were also $3 lower than the previous week’s averages. A moderate trade took place in the South on Wednesday with deals mostly at $126, which was steady to $1 higher than the previous week’s weighted average basis.
