Members of two eastern Nebraska ag cooperatives have voted to merge.
The merger brings together Frontier Co-op, based at Brainard, and Midwest Farmers Co-op, headquartered at Elmwood. The two co-ops combined have 50 grain, agronomy, energy and feed locations across 14 counties in east-central Nebraska.
The merger will be effective on September 1st. The name of the unified cooperative has not yet been chosen.
