More perception is in the
forecast for the next two weeks which should further delay fieldwork for
farmers in the Midwest.
“Below normal temperatures here are expected along the northern tier of states, including at least a part of Michigan. I would not be surprised to see some areas across southern or central lower Michigan pick up an inch or two of heavy, wet snow.”
Michigan state climatologist Jeff Andresen says active storm systems along the U.S./Canadian border will also bring above normal precipitation.
