USDA will be awarding $1.5 million in competitive grants for
dairy business innovations through a new program in the 2018 Farm Bill.
The Dairy Business Innovation Initiative supports efforts to
develop higher value dairy products, marketing and processing innovations and
utilization of regional milk production.
State departments of agriculture or other state entities,
extension, institutions, and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply.
Applications will be accepted until June 17.
