The latest progress in the U.S.-China trade talks has the U.S.
Ag Secretary optimistic about export opportunities.
“I’m happy to see that Secretary Mnuchin feels that the enforcement mechanisms, which have been a concern, have been resolved.”
Sonny Perdue says talks have been productive.
“President Trump is just saying let’s use agricultural products to reduce the trade deficit that we experienced between our two countries, it’s not asking you to buy something you’re not already buying.”
Perdue says a trade deal will be beneficial for a variety of
commodities, but it’s not over till it’s over.
