U.S. ethanol production climbed back over the million barrel a day mark last week, but continues to show the effects of recent flooding.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.002 million barrels a day, up 3,000 on the week, but the four-week average of 995,000 barrels was the lowest rate in two years, according to the Renewable Fuels Association. Damaged roads and rail lines have delayed the shipment of corn to some plants in parts of the Midwest and Plains, leading  those plants to either limit production or idle plants completely.
