Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Stephen Censky says the USDA’s recent study showing reduced greenhouse gas emissions from ethanol compared to gasoline is important because it is up to date.
“We thought it was very useful to have a peer reviewed, science-based study that looks at what is our actual experience today with ethanol.”
He tells Brownfield much of the data cited by policy makers, regulatory officials and media up to this point has been outdated.
