Guidelines for growing hemp
in Illinois, which were created by the state department of ag, have been
approved.
Jeff cox with the department says
the rules were approved without objection by the Joint Committee on
Administrative Rules during a hearing on Tuesday and they will now be filed
with the Secretary of State.
He says upon acceptance the
rules will take effect and the department will begin accepting license
applications, he hopes by the end of the month.
