Soybeans were fractionally mixed, adjusting old crop/new crop spreads after the new WASDE report. U.S. ending stocks were down a little on the month, with no changes to exports, contrary to some expectations because of the slow demand from China. Trade talks this week between the U.S. and China are ongoing, via teleconference. African swine fever is expected to dull China’s appetite for soybean meal, but there are still other types of livestock to feed.
