The South Dakota Department of Agriculture has set a June 30th
cutoff date for use of dicamba products. The state’s agriculture department
says it obtained EPA Special Local Needs labels for Engenia, Fexapan and
Xtendimax with VaporGrip Technology. Applicators can use the products until
soybeans reach the R1 growth stage, 45 days after planting or June 30,
whichever comes first.
Anyone applying dicamba products has to keep records. And applicators applying
or purchasing the products have to complete annual dicamba training.
