Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the week mixed following the direction of the cash market.
Chinese imports during February were
mostly higher than last year but lower than the previous month. The largest increases for the year are in
skim milk powder and fluid milk and cream, while whey products have seen the
largest decline since 2018.
March Class
III milk up two cents at $15.05. April up
20 cents at $15.49. May a penny lower at
$15.38. June down a penny at $15.57. July through November contracts were unchanged
to eight cents higher.
