Today is Indiana Farm Bureau’s 100th anniversary.
On March 25, 1919, the organization was created to protect the interests of farmers through education, legislation, and more. A century later the organization continues to promote and advocate for Indiana’s agriculture industry.
Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron says the organization has a
tremendous history.
“There was a group of farmers that realized if they worked together, they could have a better voice across Indiana-not only here at the statehouse but also in local governments,” he says.
