Wet harvest conditions in the Eastern Corn Belt could lead to
quality issues in storage this year.
Pat Frasco with Neogen tells Brownfield it’s best not to wait too long to market grain.
“Seek to get the poorest quality grain moved as quickly as you can. The poorest quality grain will not store well.”
He says their recently released 2018 Capstone Report found above
normal levels of mycotoxins across the Midwest including in Michigan, Nebraska
and Missouri.
