A U.S. Senator is urging USDA to implement the 2018 Farm
Bill as quickly as possible.
Minnesota Democrat Tina Smith says she and fellow Senate Ag Committee members met with Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue last week.
“I asked him about the Dairy Margin program, which I know is so important to Minnesota dairy farmers. And also broadband implementation, which is very important (too).”
She tells Brownfield Secretary Perdue is working hard to get the new farm bill up and running.
