The USDA says export inspections for the week ending March 7th were mixed. Corn has slowed down but remains ahead of the previous marketing year and while wheat inspections have improved, they are still behind last year’s pace. The 2018/19 marketing year runs through the end of May for wheat and the end of August for corn, sorghum, and soybeans.
Wheat came out at 592,001 tons, up 103,172 from the week ending February 28th and 163,186 higher than the week ending March 8th, 2018.
