Dunning: Missouri broadband money will help

Eleven providers are the successful bidders that will share
255-Million-dollars from the federal government to improve broadband access in
rural Missouri.
Janie Dunning, broadband consultant for the Missouri Farm
Bureau, says two-thirds of the state does not have adequate broadband and this
money will help, “Any time that much money comes to the state of Missouri for
something as important as broadband we need to be grateful and we need to be
thrilled about it.”
Dunning told state Farm Bureau members last week that the providers have agreed to provide 100 megabits per second.
