Tariffs
Hurt the Heartland is encouraged by President Trump’s decision not to raise
Chinese tariffs March 1st. The anti-tariff campaign says the
administration seems to have heard the concerns of U.S. businesses and farmers
who simply cannot afford more tariffs.
Along
with tariffs on Chinese goods needed by American businesses, Americans have
also been pinched by retaliatory tariffs on their products being sold in
China. Trump’s decision to not raise tariffs also makes it unlikely China
will add any further retaliatory tariffs.
