The Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores of Iowa (PMCI) has
changed its name to Fuel Iowa.
Eastern Iowa farmer David Walton says the name change reflects a
modernization of the fuel supply in Iowa.
“Iowa is the number one biodiesel-producing state in the nation and seeing them make the change to Fuel Iowa – which now encompasses all fuels including advanced biofuels, which is biodiesel – is a very positive step and it brings more awareness to the marketplaceā
The statewide association represents fuel distributors, cooperatives, convenience stores, grocery stores, refiners, and biofuel producers.
