PMCI changes name to Fuel Iowa to include biofuels

The Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores of Iowa (PMCI) has
changed its name to Fuel Iowa.
Eastern Iowa farmer David Walton says the name change reflects a
modernization of the fuel supply in Iowa.
“Iowa is the number one biodiesel-producing state in the nation and seeing them make the change to Fuel Iowa – which now encompasses all fuels including advanced biofuels, which is biodiesel – is a very positive step and it brings more awareness to the marketplace”
The statewide association represents fuel distributors, cooperatives, convenience stores, grocery stores, refiners, and biofuel producers.
