The executive director of the Soil Health Partnership, Shefali Metha, says there’s increasing interest in practices that keep soils productive.
“We have a lot of farmers who are in the program, or who may not yet be in the program, who have an interest in being able to share information with each other about what works from a sustainable ag practice perspective,” Metha told Brownfield Ag News, “but also really just understanding what to do from an operational sense.”
That is what has driven a decision to open the Soil Health Summit to the public, according to Metha.
