At the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures closed higher on renewed buyer interest. Feeder cattle also found support in the days
lower move in corn. The market is still hopeful
ahead of widespread direct cash business.
February live cattle closed $2.10 higher at $125.30 and April live
cattle closed $1.07 higher at $126.15.
January feeder cattle closed $1.62 higher at $147.62 and March feeder
cattle closed $1.55 higher at $145.45.
Direct cash cattle trade is quiet.
