Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed higher Monday supported by trade optimism.
December up two cents at $14. January 18 cents higher at $14.58. February up 16 cents at $14.88. March up 16 cents at $15.15. April through next November contracts closed four to 12 cents higher.
Blocks remained unchanged at $1.36.
Barrels were down $0.0350 at $1.28. One trade was made at that price.
