A northeastern Ohio farmer says he’s cautiously optimistic about the trade progress between the U.S. and China
Ben Klick says he’s anxious to see how negotiations will unfold over the next 90 days.
“Until they officially commit to so many units of ag goods and really start buying some stuff back, I don’t want to get excited and then be let down,” he says. “But we’re being very optimistic and hopeful for the progress the president has made so far, especially in the last few days.”
He tells Brownfield the trade dispute has not only hurt farmers, but it has also impacted their business decisions.
