Soybeans were modestly higher on short covering and technical buying, ending the week narrowly mixed. The USDA numbers from Thursday were neutral to bearish, but the trade was focused on delays for the tail end of harvest and possible quality issues. The trade continues to wait for any news on talks with China ahead of the expected meeting between President Trump and President Xi at the G20 summit later this month in Argentina.
