Archer Daniels Midland and Cargill are forming a technology joint venture called Grainbridge. Cargill says Grainbridge will provide grain marketing support, e-commerce and account management software for U.S. and Canadian farmers, at no cost to them.
One of the first tools from Grainbridge will give farmers access to their combined ADM and Cargill transactions, including contracts, scale tickets and payment information.
Cargill’s Roger Watchorn says the goal is to help farmers make better, smarter decisions, using data that already exists in their operations.
