A top official from Cuba visited the farm of Minnesota Farm Bureau president Kevin Paap this week.
Paap says it was an honor hosting Miguel Fraga, the First Secretary at the Cuban Embassy.
“I actually had him in the combine (to) combine some soybeans and had a really good discussion about how we can work together.”
Paap tells Brownfield normalizing trade with Cuba makes sense.
“That’s a country that is only 90 miles away, 11 million people.
