American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall says the anti-opioid bill signed into law by President Trump is an important first step. Duvall says rural America has some of the highest rates of opioid addiction.
He says the bill will make it easier for Medicaid patients to get treatment. The measure also increases policing of the mail which is the main method used in the opioid trade. And it supports research for less addictive pain medications.
