Much needed rain was reported in Illinois this past week. Topsoil moisture is 78 percent adequate to surplus. Ninety-one percent of the corn is up and is 81 percent good to excellent. Soybean planting is 94 percent done, which is ahead of normal. Winter wheat is 98 percent headed and is 62 percent good to excellent.
