Bill Thiele of Clearwater, Nebraska has been involved in the dairy business his whole life. He’s been through plenty of ups and downs and he says while the market is down right now, they try to stay focused on the things they can control.
“The best we can do is just try to do the best we can every day on the farm. That’s basically our goal,” Thiele says. “If we take care of our people that work for us, if we take care of the animals, and if we do the right thing with our land and resources, then we hope that we can still continue to compete and stay in business and prosper.
