The USDA reports corn export sales for the week ending January 18th were above most pre-report estimates, while soybeans were generally below analyst expectations. Physical shipments of corn, soybeans, and wheat remain slower than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2017/18 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 427,200 tons (15.7 million bushels), up sharply from both the week ending January 11th and the four week average.
