U.S. Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue says he’s confident the U.S. can make deals with the 11 countries forging ahead with a Trans Pacific Partnership.
President Trump pulled the United States out of the 12-member deal a year ago this week and Perdue says he agrees that the U.S. can do a better job, once those nation’s sign their new agreement in, “We then think we’ll be able to go to those countries on a bilateral basis and be involved in better trade deals, negotiate better trade deals.”
