A Midwest grower just got back from an international trip with the U.S. Grains Council in Peru and says shipping remains a big issue there. Missouri Corn Growers Association President Kyle Kirby who farms in Liberal, in Southwest Missouri, told Brownfield Ag News at the association’s annual meeting in Jefferson City on Tuesday, “There’s talk about making the ports more container friendly and that doesn’t sit well with anyone that’s wanting to import bulk corn.
