Corning, Iowa farmer Ray Gaesser is seeking the Republican nomination for Iowa secretary of agriculture.
Gaesser, a former president of the American Soybean Association, tells Brownfield his goal is “responsible, but profitable, agriculture”.
“Strong family farms grow strong, healthy communities and grow a strong, healthy Iowa,” Gaesser says. “I will work with farmers, with legislators, and with citizens to share that message and encourage the idea that we’re all in this together and we all have responsibilities that we can share.”
Gaesser says he’s passionate about conserving and enhancing Iowa’s natural resources.
