The president of the Missouri Dairy Association calls this “a very challenging time of economic conditions caused by depressed milk prices.”  Dairy farmer Ted Sheppard of Cabool, Missouri, says it’s an important time to share ideas and meet dairy producers at the Heart of America Dairy Expo.  Sheppard chairs the event, including a sold-out trade show, that opens Thursday, January 18, and runs through Saturday in Springfield, Missouri.  Association Executive Director Dave Drennan says dairy farmers will get hands on information they can use on the farm.
