Bayer and MS Technologies say they have received approval from the European Commission for the importation of their herbicide tolerant soybean trait stack known as FG-72 LL-55 for food and feed use. It follows approvals from the U.S., Canada and Brazil already.
The companies say the product will “build on the LibertyLink foundation with increased yield performance”. The soybean confers tolerance to glufosinate, glyphosate and an HPPD inhibitor (isoxaflutole) and the first launch is planned for the U.S.
