With the big January crop reports out of the way, AgriVisor market analyst Dale Durchholz thinks grain markets could be poised for a turnaround.
“I think we’re in the midst of putting in lows and we’re going to see prices trend higher as we go through the rest of the winter and on into spring,” Durchholz says.
He says South American crop development, especially the planting and development of Brazil’s safrinha (second-crop) corn, will be a key factor to watch.
