A rural broadband initiative is being launched by the Missouri Governor’s office, a top priority of the Missouri Farm Bureau.
Governor Eric Greitens announced Tuesday the Missouri Department of Economic Development and Missouri Department of Agriculture will lead the efforts to expand broadband in rural areas of the state.
Missouri Farm Bureau president Blake Hurst tells Brownfield Ag News, “We’ll see whether there’s a funding request that goes with that and move forward on that issue.
