Direct cash cattle trade has been fairly quiet. However, there have been a few scattered bids reported in Kansas at $118.00. A few asking prices have been reported in parts of the South at $122.00 to $123.00. It isn’t expected for this week to mimic last week’s strange activity where trade was essentially finished by late on Tuesday. Don’t be surprised if this week’s trade is postponed until Wednesday or later.
Boxed beef is lower at the midday on light to moderate box movement.
